FINANCIAL DATA
When doing business online with Rusty Mill Distillery, your transactions are secured in our eCommerce backend, which is provided by a major Bank, National Australia Bank (NAB).
We do not get or hold your financial transaction information; we get the order you placed and the payment is handled by NAB. When the transaction is complete, we receive the order details from the website and confirmation of payment by NAB.
We never receive your financial details, the bank does. We ship the goods the following working day or as near as possible, when we receive the confirmation of payment with your order number.
EFTPOS
When we undertake a face-to-face transaction, we use NAB’s gateway on a mobile with near-field communication (NFC). When the transaction is complete, just like on any other EFTPOS device, we receive a transaction complete message and provide the goods. Nothing more.
Record Keeping
We receive a bank statement the same as anyone else. Which, unsurprisingly, have no more information.
Order records are kept as they are with any other business in Australia, to satisfy the requirements of government via tax law, Archives Act, Corporations Act and so on.
We do value our patrons and conduct ourselves in the most professional manner we are capable of.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Images, graphics, photographs, graphics within the Rusty Mill Distillery website are the property of Rusty Mill Distillery. Accordingly, to the above the User shall not reproduce, represent, and more generally use the elements belonging to Rusty Mill Distillery without its express written prior authorisation. Rusty Mill Distillery grants the User with a non-exclusive and non-transferable right limited to the use of the website and of the creative works and information contained on the website.
