Payment
At Rusty Mill Distillery, we accept payment for goods 24 hrs via our website. Payment is only accepted in Australian Dollars and prices are in Australian dollars. The payment system is provided by a third party, National Australia Bank and they secure your banking information.
We do in-person cash sales via EFTPOS at events, which we attend and participate in. We do not accept phone orders from individuals. Companies can place orders via invoice paid for by either direct funds transfer or credit card.
Shipping & Delivery
Goods will be packaged and sent the next working day, once payment has been received from the bank. We are a small business and delays (of a couple of days) may sometimes occur due to illness. Customers will be contacted while we make staff provisions should the illness take longer to resolve.
Delivery is by Australia Post and only sold within Australia. Products which cannot be received in person at your street mailbox may be collected from the post office. A responsibility exists under the Responsible Service of Alcohol to ensure alcohol is not accessible by minors. Liquor is sold only to persons of 18 years of age or older, and age confirmation identification must be presented at the time of delivery.
Shipping cost is calculated based on the weight and dimensions of your order and the delivery postcode.
We are not responsible for any delays in shipping and will do our best to get it to you as soon as possible.
Refunds & Returns
Our products are a beverage made for human consumption, and as such are considered a single-use product.
Returns are not available based on a change of mind, but rather a failure in production. All returns need to be approved by us first and a return reference provided. Refunds are only available on products which have not been opened and tamper seals are intact.
As product is dispatched via Australia Post, returns need to be made the same way, at the buyer's expense.
RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL
Alcohol should not be seen as an everyday drink but rather as a treat; to be savoured and enjoyed, not simply consumed. To that end as a supplier, we have an obligation to:
- The need to minimise harm associated with misuse and abuse of alcohol.
- The need to encourage responsible attitudes and practices towards the promotion, sale, supply, service and consumption of liquor.
- The need to ensure that the sale, supply and consumption of alcohol contributes to, and does not detract from, the amenity of community life.
With this in mind, we label our bottles in small drams rather than full nips to enjoy drinking in moderation and allow our customers to enjoy the moment.
A standard drink is 30 mls; it does not matter what size your glass is, count your drinks.
